International Service Package:
For students from abroad, there is a specific package of additional services called “International Service Package” for a price of € 1.000,00, already included in the fee, which includes:
– Visa assistance (if necessary)
– Assistance dedicated to the search for accommodation / logistics accommodation in Terni
– Tutoring during the course to solve specific problems
– Support for obtaining the tax code and residence permit
– Support the process of learning progress with the course manager
– Translation of part of the documentation and the essential elements of the teaching material in English
Students who do not need any service and have B1 level knowledge of the Italian language may apply, without the dedicated assistance for students from abroad. In this case the cost will be € 3.600,00
The profession of Barman: The course is aimed at those who intend to acquire a good technical preparation and adequate capacity, in order to develop professional passion for the bar. The Barman works in restaurants catering of any type (bar, also attached to hotel or external facilities, winery, etc.), mostly in dependent form and, in tourist resorts, even in a seasonal way.
COURSE PROGRAM
- Exercise the profession of Barman / barlady
- Work in the catering industry
- Plan the offer of bars, cafés and wines and define supply needs
- Manage the relationship with the bar customers
- Prepare and serve coffee and snack products
- Prepare and serve alcohol, super-spirits, cocktails and long drinks
- Advanced mixing, brewing treatment, mixing
- Italian and international wines – tasting
- Matching glasses and drinks
- Monitor stocks – bar and lounge
- American Flair Bartender
- The new frontiers: Molecular Cocktail
- The bar organization
- Coordinate your employees in the realization of the service – Accommodation structures
- Conduct the hygiene and cleaning of the workplace – Catering
- Work safely in catering services
- Decoration of fruit and vegetables
- Snack appetizers and Finger Food
- Evaluate the quality of the service offered within the accommodation facilities
ORGANIZATION NOTES
Lectures will be held in a laboratory equipped with the most modern technologies.
FINAL EXAM
Qualification tests will be carried out at our school in the presence of a commission composed of institutional members representing the Umbria Region for the recognition of the legally recognized professional qualifier of “Barman” valid throughout the national and Community territory.
The qualification examination will take place an afternoon from 15:00 to 20:00 at the end of the lessons.
PARTS OF THE FINAL EXAMINATION
At the end of the course the student will undergo a final exam during which he will have to:
Make one or more preparations extracted from three tests, to be explained to the committee, with tasting by commission members
Answer questions about the program, carried out during the training activity
Do a written test with multiple-choice questions
The Professional Qualification Certificate will be written in ITALIAN, ENGLISH, GERMAN, FRENCH and will be delivered to the student after about 3 months.
Enrollment Contract: Participation in courses is defined by a contract in which are indicated the commitments of the company and the participant. The cost (tax-free) defined by the contract will not be varied and will include:
